The U.S. Navy Memorial and Naval Heritage Center in Washington DC were built to honor the sailors of the U.S. Navy.

Inside an adjacent office building is the Navy Heritage Center naval exhibits, a movie theater, a library and a computerized registry of present and former members of
the nation's sea services.
