National Museum of Women in the Arts

The National Museum of Women in the Arts is the only museum in the world dedicated exclusively to recognizing the contributions of women artists.

The museum occupies a palatial Renaissance Revival building that was formerly a Masonic Temple. In this grand space of more than 78,000 square feet the museum displays a permanent collection that includes over 250 works of women from the 16th through the late 20th century.

Open: Every day except Christmas and Thanksgiving
          and New Year's Day
Hours: Monday - Saturday 10 AM to 5 PM
           Sunday 12 PM to 5 PM
