This Iwo Jima Map shows the Iwo Jima Memorial and nearby roads.

Getting to the Iwo Jima Memorial is not easy, even though it is next to Arlington Cemetery.

You can not walk from the cemetery and some tour buses drive by, but do not stop.

Unfortunately, the best way to get to the Iwo Jima Memorial is by car.

We recommend taking Route 50 that has an exit onto N Meade Street. This is the Rosslyn exit. Head away from Rosslyn on N Meade Street and turn left on to Marshall Street. Turn left again into the memorial.

Another way is to take Route 110 from Rosslyn and turn right onto Marshall Street. We do not like this way because you need to slow down to turn from the highway.
