The East Building of the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC has a collection of modern art only.

The West Building has paintings, sculptures, and graphic art from the Middle Ages to the present.

Open: Every day, except Christmas and New Year's Day
Hours: Monday - Saturday 10 AM to 5 PM
           Sunday 11 AM to 6 PM
