Textile Museum

In 1925 George Hewitt Myers founded the Textile Museum in Washington DC with a collection of 275 rugs and 60 related textiles. The collection has grown through the years to include thousands of textile items from Africa, Asia and Latin America.

Open: Every day, except Federal Holidays and December 24th.
Hours: Monday - Saturday 10 AM to 5 PM
           Sunday 1 PM to 5 PM
