This National Zoo is in the Northwest section of Washington DC.

The National Zoo is famous for its two giant pandas, Mei Xiang and Tian Tian plus the new baby panda - Tai Shan.

We recommend using the Metro Red Line to get there. The Woodley Park - Zoo station is closest to downtown Washington. Exit the station and walk a few blocks north to the main entrance on Connecticut Avenue.

You can drive and park at the Zoo. However, during the summer the parking lots fill up quickly.
