Dulles Airport Information

Access for Travelers with Disabilities
Wheelchairs and assistance are available through airline representatives at each airline counter. Visual paging is available in the Main Terminal and Concourse B. Telephonic Devices for the Deaf (TDDs) are available throughout the Main Terminal and concourses.

Baggage Carts
Baggage carts are available throughout the terminals and in parking facilities within walking distance of the Main Terminal. The SmarteCarte kiosks accept credit cards, debit cards, coins, $1 and $5 bills.

Baggage Claim
Baggage for arriving domestic flights at Washington Dulles International is transported by airlines to the Baggage Claim Level of the Main Terminal. Baggage on international flights is processed in the Federal Inspection areas. Baggage Information Display Boards located throughout the airport show the location of the baggage claim area for each arriving flight.

Business Service Center
Business Service Center in the Main Terminal, Ticketing Level, provides foreign currency exchange, insurance, facsimile and photocopying, notary public, and other services. Hours: 7 AM to 9 PM daily. Telephone: (703) 572-2946.

Getting to the Plane
All departing passengers must pass through security checkpoint located on the Departures (upper) Level of the Main Terminal. From there, use walkways to reach Concourses A, B, or Z.  Or ride a mobile lounge to reach Concourses A, B, C, or D.

Interfaith Chapel
Open 24/7 to all faith traditions. Located in Concourse B across from Gate B28. 

International Arrivals
Passengers arriving on international flights are transported by mobile lounges from the plane to the International Arrivals Building (IAB) located at the west end of the Main Terminal.  Once cleared through the IAB, passengers enter the terminal adjacent to Baggage Claim Carousel #15.  From the Main Terminal, this is located inside Arrivals Door #1 and #2.

Lost & Found
Passengers attempting to locate lost items should check with their airline or Airport Police.

Paging
Paging for Main Terminal only is available at Travelers Aid Desk, (703) 572-8296. This service can also be arranged by contacting the airline on which the passenger is arriving or departing.

Picking up Passengers at the Main Terminal
To pick up arriving passengers, drivers should follow signs to the Arrivals Level curbside. Arriving passengers proceed from Baggage Claim up a ramp and outside to the Arrivals Level curbside to meet transportation.

Skycap Services/Baggage Assistance
Skycap services (baggage porters) are available curbside and throughout the Airport.

Smoke-Free Facility
Smoking is permitted outside the Main Terminal and in smoking lounges located in Concourses B, C and D.

Travelers Aid
Services are available at the Information Counter in the Main Terminal on the Baggage Claim (lower) Level. For more information call (703) 572-8296.

USO Lounge
A USO Lounge (United Service Organization) serving military personnel and their families is open daily from 6 AM to 10 PM The lounge is located on the Arrivals level across from Baggage Claim #12. For more information, call 703-572-4876.
